Spatial puzzle
Cascadia
A habitat arrangement and a wildlife pattern develop together. The interesting choice is often between improving the landscape and satisfying a particular animal's scoring pattern; the two goals do not always suggest the same placement.
What to watch for
Watch how a habitat tile and wildlife token are selected and placed. Pay close attention to the scoring cards in use, because the symbols on the table need to translate into a specific pattern. The linked lesson includes designer Randy Flynn explaining the game.

At your first table
Put the selected scoring cards where all players can read them. Before the first turn, demonstrate one small example for each unfamiliar pattern and identify any restrictions on placing wildlife. If you change scoring cards between sessions, treat that as a new puzzle instead of playing from memory. Review each category methodically at the end so unfinished assumptions do not turn into scoring disputes.
